The key to the success of SMART is due to the way our software programming staff has designed this POS system. We applied Software Engineering principles in every aspect of our software design. Unlike other systems, SMART was designed using today's programming technology, Object Oriented Design, instead of the traditions Top-Down Sequential Design. In simple terms, this means that you don't have to respond to 8 to 10 different pre-determined and pre positioned questions in order to complete one Order transaction. With SMART, once a customer is selected, an Order transaction can be completed using as a few as 2 key strokes. The operation still retains the flexibility to select many other options such as Delivery, Coupon, Discount Release Statement Tag assignment, UpCharges, Storage charges, selection of due date and time etc with a few additional key strokes

A pop-up window automatically appears with a list of the customer's Ready tickets and Rack No. location. So the customer walks out with all their garments and you get your profits off your conveyor and into your cash drawer.

Enter items faster with only a few keystrokes. Just press quantity and the Blouse button and Blouse and its price appear on the screen with the upcharge option.

Then, once the customer's order is entered, just press the Work in Progress button to:

  • Print the ticket.

  • Store the ticket information on the hard disk.

  • Clear the transaction screen for the next ticket. When wH6ng a second ticket for the same customer (like one ticket for dry cleaning, one ticket for shirts), simply press Repeat Customer ad the screen is ready.
